1. Nature of the Platform

CricBid provides tools for:

• Cricket tournament creation, scheduling, and administration.
• Private player draft sessions where team managers allocate virtual budget points to select players for their cricket teams (analogous to franchise player auctions used in professional cricket leagues for team-building purposes).
• Ball-by-ball live match scoring and analytics.
• Team management, player registration, and public tournament pages.

The player draft is an internal, organisational process used to assign players to cricket teams within a private tournament. It does not involve wagering, staking money on sporting outcomes, or any element of gambling as defined under the Public Gambling Act, 1867 or any state gambling legislation in India.

2. No Affiliation with BCCI or IPL

CricBid is an independent technology company and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the Indian Premier League (IPL), any state cricket association, or any national or international cricket body. All trademarks, logos, and names of cricket organisations mentioned on this platform belong to their respective owners and are used solely for descriptive or informational purposes.

3. Subscription Fees

Subscription fees charged by CricBid are tournament participation fees and software subscription fees for access to the CricBid sports-management platform. These fees are charged for software access only and are not entry fees for any contest, prize pool, game of chance, or wagering event. No money wagered or staked on sporting outcomes is involved at any point.

4. Player Statistics and Performance Data

Player career statistics and match analytics displayed on CricBid are generated from match data entered by tournament organisers and scorers. CricBid makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. Statistics are provided for informational and organisational purposes only and should not be relied upon for any commercial, legal, or contractual purpose.

5. No Guarantee of Outcomes

CricBid does not guarantee any specific sporting, financial, or competitive outcomes to any user, team, organiser, or player. The platform is a neutral tool; the results of tournaments, player performances, and draft outcomes are entirely dependent on the participants and organisers.

6. Organiser Responsibility

Tournament organisers are solely responsible for the conduct of their tournaments, including compliance with applicable local laws, collection of any physical entry fees from players, distribution of trophies or prizes, and adherence to regulations of local cricket bodies. CricBid provides the technology platform only and is not responsible for any disputes, liabilities, or legal matters arising between organisers, team managers, and players.

7. "As Is" Service

The CricBid platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. CricBid makes no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. CricBid shall not be liable for any loss of data, business interruption, or indirect damages arising from the use of the platform.

8. Third-Party Services

CricBid integrates third-party services including Firebase (Google LLC) for authentication, Razorpay for online payment processing, Google Play Billing and the Apple App Store for in-app purchases, and Cloudflare R2 for media hosting. CricBid is not responsible for the terms, privacy practices, or service availability of these third parties.

9. Governing Law

This disclaimer and all related legal documents are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in India.
